Here’s what we’ve all been waiting for!!! The NEW Sizzix Dies & BIGkick by Vintaj are now available! Check your local Hobby Lobby store, for a total of 6 DecoEmboss dies, 4 DecoEtch dies and our gorgeous new machine. You’ll also find a great selection of our Altered Blanks and the essential Metal Reliefing Block for making the designs pop!
After CHAS I visited my friends at Sizzix for a Vintaj training session. We had a blast! Everyone dove into creating unique necklaces with the dies, paints, inks and melt art. During my time in California, Stephanie Bernard (spokesperson for Sizzix) and myself shot a technique video using the dies. Hopefully it will help you get started on your creative jewelry journey. . . click the center of the image to watch.
And that’s not it! I also have a necklace project to share with you, Midnight Vineyard made by Wendy Mullane. I LOVE this piece, the colors are outstanding! This tutorial shows you how to create a beautiful DecoEmboss pendant in 8 easy steps! Don’t forget you can choose from a large variety of altered blank shapes and designs within our dies to make a stunning piece every time! Here’s one option perfect for the fall season featuring our Treasured Maple blank & Wildflower Vines die. . .

As usually girlio……..JUST AMAZING!!!
So beautiful! Such amazing talent!
I’m gonna have to sell my scrapbooking Sissix that has only been collecting dust the last 6 years+ to buy this… love it!!!
Love, Love, Love this. I have the Big Shot and if I had time to make jewelry I would be doing this all day long. The necklace beautiful Jess.
You can use some of the other Sizzix machines, that you may already have for scrapbooking. Their blue BIGkick, pink & black BIGshot, and the Vagabound all work with our dies
This is my new favorite tool and I just am in love!
Sooooo lovin’ my new Folders!!!!!! Made my day!

Love that necklace- my favorite metal and the patina is fantastic with the purple beads!! Thank you so much for sharing the tutorial. I am going to try this.
I soooo want this new BigShot!!! BUT, alas, I bought a Cuttlebug in the last year. Is it possible to buy all these gorgeous dies @ use them with a Cuttlebug? And if so, how? (as in, what to do or use to adapt the dies for the Cuttlebug?) is the Vintaj BigKick made differently than the other BigKicks, like the pink & black one, or the Vagabond by Tim Holtz? Ty on advance!! I LOVE, LOVE Vintaj!!!!!!
Ok so acrylic paint is what we should use on these metals? I remember it said alcohol based…..what about putting a base coat down? What if you are doing the circle pieces and coating it with an epoxy or going over a baked clay impression? Same kind of paint? I was also looking for more of the mixed look that looks not on purpose and like what they do show in the book. How do I get those looks?
