In these step-by-step technique videos, I demonstrate on how to use our DecoEtch Dies & Vintaj BIGkick machine by Sizzix. I love the look of the fine lined detail each DecoEtch Die imprints into our altered blanks. Here I use an Artisan Copper 29.5mm Square blank & our new Lily Pads DecoEtch Die.

You can also add permanent color to your beautifully detailed DecoEtch blanks with Vintaj Patinas! It’s a fun and easy way to take your designs to the next level. In this next video I used two of my favorite patina colors, verdigris and jade from our Weathered Copper Patina kit on an Artisan Copper 33.5mm Circle blank etched with our Fine Feathers DecoEtch Die.

You can also etch on our Natural Brass and Arte Metal blanks. Note that you will achieve a much deeper impression in the Artisan Copper blanks as it is the softest of our three metals, with the Arte Metal giving you the lightest impression but still beautiful, especially with patina accentuating the design!
