Embossing Tip: Simply Tape Altered Blanks in Place

We love using our Lowercase Typewriter & Typewriter Numbers DecoEmboss Dies with our natural brass 9mm Square Tag & 12mm Circle Tag Altered Blanks. It is a quick and easy way to add initials, names, inspirational words, special dates, etc. to your jewelry and craft projects. For those of you who have used these dies, know that it can be tricky to line up the small blank over the letter or number and keep it in place before you run it through the BIGkick machine. The blank tends to slide around and now you can easily emboss multiple tag blanks at the same time. Here is a great way to keep the tag blanks in place for a perfect emboss each and every time…

  2. Darleen Gordon says:

Can the Big Shot be used for this project?

  3. Vintaj says:

Darleen, yes the Sizzix Big Shot can also be used. It the Sizzix embossing machines have the same working insides, it’s just the looks of the outside of the machine that is designed differently. Have fun!
