DIY Basics ~ Rubber Stamping: Patina & Sealing

This technique was perfect to incorporate into some of our “Field Journal” inspired designs. It not only adds color, but also a beautiful graphic image or decorative text which can look handwritten like field notes. Betsy & I stamped with Ranger’s Jet Black Archival Ink over a blend of marine & jade patina, using different shaped altered blanks but similar stamps, the results each reflect a unique feel…

    Oh my…I just love the stamped text on the patina blanks! That is an awesome idea. I’m glad I will be ordering more patina colors. May need to add some blanks as well ;)
