Designer of the Month: Lorelei Eurto

May 1st, 2008 by Vintaj

“There may not be a bigger fan than myself, of Vintaj natural brass finding, pendants, charms, and doodads! I started using brass in my jewelry when I saw an ad for Vintaj in Stringing Magazine. I was immediately attracted to the intricate details, the ‘vintage’ feeling that the finished pieces of jewelry portrayed, and mostly the chocolate brown that seemed to go with any color bead. Brass adds a ‘modern’ twist to vintage jewelry. By pairing the brass with crystals, you get a dressier piece of jewelry. You also can add a little asymmetry to it, and it has a more modern, and casual feel. I love that a lot of Vintaj pieces are inspired from nature. I try to maintain an earthy look to all my jewelry designs, and Vintaj provides me with an endless palette to work with. My favorites, are the charms of turtles, birds, and dragonflies.”

Thank You,
Lorelei Eurto
