Texture, paint, and imprint a message on an Altered Blank Canvas and embellish with riveting on charms. Check out our Rivet & Texture Step-by-Step Video to learn how to create cold connections to blanks. Tip: You will need to use a beading awl to enlarge the hole of your bird charm before stringing the rivet.
Create a collage using a blank or bezel. Use K&Company rub-ons, Ranger Alcohol Inks or Acrylic Paint Dabbers and add a bird charm before sealing it all with Glossy Accents. Once dry, wrap with a violet petal filigree and cluster crystals and pearls from chain. Tip: For a bit of sparkle, gently set a flat back crystal into the Glossy Accents as it is drying.
Dangle & layer a Swarovski crystal and bird charm from chain over a filigree wrapped altered blank for a unique pair of earrings! Tip: Open a BD90- 15mm Filigree Bead using pliers. Line up the center of the open filigree to the bottom edge of the blank. Bend all four petals up and around the blank.

I agree with the other comments, the Rivet and Texture video took the big mystery out of the technique, we never outgrow the need to be shown! Looking forward to future videos!

I am so glad you show this video…the bird charm is also one of my favorite items of the vintaj products…so cute!
