Decorative Borders and Corners

Embellish journals, canvases, cards, frames, birdhouses, boxes, altered blank canvases, and much more with Vintaj Borders & Corners! Simply rivet, glue, sew, or secure with brads onto you altered art and home décor projects. Think outside of the box and use some of our pendants and embellishments as a corner as well. One of my favorite pieces to use as a decorative corner is item EM0080– Tree; it works wonderfully to frame the bottom right corner of your projects. I also love using item P183- Branch; as a continuous border at the edge of a journal cover or box.
To view more projects with our traditional borders & corners you can browse through the Altered Art category in our Idea Gallery for inspiration!

Always love your ideas, Jess! I’m not able to add any more Vintaj activities to my limited space, but would like to comment on “Behind the Blog” – this is a great idea but I would love to see close-ups of the girls’ favorite and/or jewelry they’re wearing in their photos. I’m sure others would too, we never get enough! Thanks!

I so wanted to make my own cards this year, but not enough time for all the crafts I have going right now as it is.
Great Ideas

I love all the journals. Are the journals put together or are these journals you buy and alter. I have trouble with the rings.

Thanks Sharon! Great idea on Behind the Blog too… I agree with adding more photos. We’ll see what we can do for future posts on the girls.
Jeannie – some of the journals are already put together and we just embellish them. However, others are all the individual parts (such as the ‘It’s Cold’ mini acrylic journal. With chip board or our altered blank canvases we typically use a Crop-A-Dile to create the holes along the edge and bind it all together with 15mm jump rings.
Thanks everyone, glad you like the ideas!
