Nouveau Crest Filigree

Incorporate a 38 x 40mm Nouveau Crest Filigree into necklaces, bracelets and altered art projects. Simply cluster beads and charms from the filigree to make a decorative pendant, or have fun wrapping with stones, cabochons, enamels, pendants, found objects & much more!
Helpful tip: {This filigree is on the thicker side – I suggest using bale making pliers to start creating your setting before wrapping stones.}
Other creative uses; work as the base to attach, glue and adorn embellishments and beads, as seen in Melanie Brooks “Fairy” necklace. Glue, fasten and rivet onto a painted canvas, wooden box or journal cover. Use pliers to fold filigree in half and use as a unique connector in jewelry. To accentuate and highlight the raised detailed areas use a piece of fine steel wool or soft polishing cloth. Search F10 on our blog or Idea Gallery for more fun projects featuring this beautiful filigree!

I find this one hard to use since it is really very sturdy. I like your suggestions. I just bought a bunch of fun cabs, vintage-y, and this will be a perfect time to try it out. Thanks for sharing! Enjoy the day! Erin

I love this item. The only design challenge I ever won incorporated the Nouveau Crest. And some of my favorite designs, yet to be unveiled, use the Nouveau Crest. I used wire to attached a leaf shaped bead to the front, then dangled some little crystals from the bottom edge. Lots of fun!!
