DESIGN CHALLENGE RULES

To enter our Vintaj Design Challenges: Email submissions to challenge@vintaj.com and include the challenge name in the subject line.
  • Submissions must be your own original work and showcase a good percentage of Vintaj Natural Brass Co. findings and embellishments. (natural brass, arte metal & artisan copper)
  • Necklace, bracelet, anklet, ring, earrings- any type of jewelry applies. Photos of jewelry sets {ie: earrings with a necklace} will be cropped to show only one piece}. We accept any altered art projects, craft, clothing, accessories or scrapbook pages.
  • Only one submission & vote per person, per month. Each designer is allowed up to two wins per YEAR.
  • Email ONE good quality photo of the piece you wish to submit.
  • Preferably photographed on a neutral background.
  • Include your name, title of the piece and inspiration (*see below).
  • JPG size should be under 1 MB, if you’re savvy with resizing you can send your image between 125 KB – 250 KB.
  • *REQUIRED: We would love to hear the inspiration behind your designs.  Share with us a short paragraph describing your design and inspiration.  Many of our bloggers are interested in hearing your designer thoughts and have stated that your inspiration will help their voting process. For blog space we are asking that you keep your description around 50 words.
  • In the event of a tie we will be reopening up the polls for a tiebreaker. Polls will be reopened for 2 days, and our bloggers will be able to vote.
  • Editor’s Pick: Each month there will be an editors pick winner in addition to the voted winner. The gang at Vintaj will choose their favorite design to be featured in a separate post, and will also receive a super cool “mystery” prize. Editor’s Pick will be be notified through email prior to their feature. Editor’s Pick will not be featured in our End of the Year design challenge.
Your entry will then be posted on the blog and the poll will be open for 5 business days (unless an extension is necessary, ex. holidays). The winner of the challenge will be determined by viewer votes and will receive:
  • A mystery prize assembled by our very own Design Team.
  • A posting on our blog with a link to their site or blog
  • Their winning design will be entered into our End of The Year Challenge. Designers may have up to two winning designs entered into our End of the Year design challenge.
