I love trees, owls, branches, leaves and for the most part any nature themed handmade beads & jewelry components! This necklace is made out of a combination of my favorites and the Perching Owl sits quietly alongside the fabulous handmade ceramic Woodgrain Lumber branch made by Melanie Brooks of Earthenwood Studio, from her Cabin Fever line. Below the branch is a large gunmetal Teardrop auto-close clip from Rings & Things holds a funky hand-painted clay tree pendant I purchased on Etsy about 4 years ago (yes, I am finally using it I tend to hoard my favorite art beads for a while). I added a hole at the top of the arte metal Tiered Leaf to create a connector which is surrounded by a beautiful earthy combination of Heather Powers gorgeous HumblebeadsBranch Disk clay beads and parts of the Mocha Latte Czech glass mix from Galena Beads.
