All of our filigree components are made from natural brass and left un-plated for easy shaping, wrapping, patina work, and customization. The lightweight, flexible nature of these designs makes them ideal for framing stones, creating resin-filled accents, and forming decorative connectors and settings. Vintaj filigree is stamped from natural brass sheets of metal with 2-6 tons of pressure.  Many tools are used for each pendant piece, creating each facet of the design. Design with filigree as is, or bend twist or twirl it into your desired shape. Each piece is in it's natural state making them malleable to fit around a stone, glass or other material. Simply bend and crimp to secure.
