Spring season, sunny days, flowers, gardening... are some of my favorite things! I was inspired by this amazing blue enamel bezel by C-Koop Beads, to create a garden time collage for our "My Favorite Things" design theme.
I cut out tiny printed letters from an old dictionary page to spell out the word, GARDEN. I glued them to the right side of the bezel. A daisy washer was riveted to the hole in the Arte Metal flourish petal, and I riveted a tattered daisy charm over our clock hands and an enamel gear. In the bottom right corner rests a trillium petals fastenable, with an aqua glass flower bead wired to the center. Everything is sealed in with a thick layer of ICE Resin.
A Natural Brass clock charm and enamel clock hand suspend from the bottom of the collage pendant. This represents "gardening" as one of my favorite times of year. The remainder of the necklace has a variety of components including; a handmade polymer clay charm I made with a floral stamp impression, a distressed sunflower detail piece turned into a creative connector, colorful rubber jump rings, a lampwork bead handmade by Melissa Rediger of Sea of Glass, and a few other fun connectors made from leaf & flower shaped charms and fastenables.
